On January 1st-3rd, 2018, the Hewitt Foundation will be leading a group of young adults to Passion 2018!

The Hewitt Foundation is providing a limited number of Passion 2018 tickets available, AT NO COST, for young adults (high school seniors – age 25) who might otherwise not have an opportunity to attend the Passion Conference. The Hewitt Foundation will take care of the cost of the ticket and the young adult would be responsible for paying $150 in lodging costs and travel by charter bus, along with any meals, to attend the Passion Conference with the group led by Craig Hewitt, President of the Hewitt Foundation, and 4 other adults leaders from the community. Young adults receiving Hewitt Foundation tickets to Passion 2018 would be required to attend the conference with the Hewitt Foundation group and tickets would not be available until the $150 travel/lodging expense was fully paid.

The Passion Conference is a yearly event hosted by 268generation and founded by Louie Giglio. Passion calls young adults from campuses across the nation and around the world to leverage their lives for what matters most…and what matters most is the name and renown of Jesus.

The Passion Conference provides an opportunity for young adults (high school seniors – age 25) to grow spiritually by worshipping in community with other young adults as well as be in prayer for a spiritual awakening for this generation. Well known Contemporary Christian music artists, Pastors and teachers lead worship at Passion each year. Passion 2018 will be held in Atlanta’s Philip’s Arena on January 1-3, 2018. If you are interested in being considered for one of the Hewitt Foundation’s complimentary Passion 2018 tickets, please complete the ***Hewitt Foundation Passion Ticket Application*** (NOTE: MUST OPENED ON A COMPUTER) and submit it to hewittfoundation@gmail.com no later than 11/01/2017. The 5th annual Hewitt 5K was a HUGE success! This was the first time having the event at Saluda Shoals Park and there were over 500 registered for this amazing event in memory of Parker and Haley Hewitt. The addition of the butterfly release at the end of the event was also a huge highlight of the day!

The Hewitt Foundation had tremendous support from 35 sponsors for 2017. These sponsors are a true blessing to those around them.

Because of these sponsors we were able to raise over $10,000. These funds will allow the Hewitt Foundation to participate in future projects within the community to share God’s love with others in memory of Parker and Haley Hewitt. We have already meet with key leaders in the community to discuss ways we can impact others for His kingdom. We are really excited about what’s to come!

The Hewitt Foundation received a list of items needed for the Child Life area at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. One of the many items on the list was a need for baby dolls. The Hewitt Foundation was able to fill this particular need by providing 50 baby dolls to Child Life.

Now, the Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital Child Life specialists will be able to use these baby dolls to help children and families that are staying in the hospital better cope with the challenges of hospitalization, illness, and disability.

May these baby dolls be used to show the love of Jesus to others.

Last year the Hewitt Foundation was able to deliver 35 Easter baskets for children in need to We Care in Chapin. THIS YEAR the Hewitt Foundation was able to deliver 50 Easter baskets was filled with a children’s bible and other fun toys such as bubbles, bounce ball, stickers, etc.

Pictured with Crystal Hewitt is Alecia Klauk, a volunteer at We Care. She accepted the baskets on behalf of the Hewitt Foundation and will help distribute them out to families of We Care Easter weekend.
